P&G Kills
Proctor and Gamble is a massive distribution and manufacturing conglomerate, responsible for such product lines as Tide, Iams, Crest, and Vicks. They are also the most abusive company towards animals. Please don't support this company, they're responsible for the needless slaughter of thousands of animals.

I honestly do not know how to describe this website, besides saying that it is definitely my kind of humor. I own two of the TFD shirts, and am subcribed to his mailing list. The author, Drew, is a very interesting guy. Go try it out!
Olde English
Hilarious sketch comedy by some of the students at Bard College. My favorite is called bathroom (second favorite is called 1945). A couple of them did a complete film in 48 hours, take a look at that fine piece of cinema, too.
Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster
An open letter to the Kansas School Board (and any others whom believe intelligent design should be taught in the public education system) calls for the equal treatment of the theory of the Flying Spaghetti Monster with the alternative theory of Intelligent Design, and evolution. The conclusion is as follows: "I think we can all look forward to the time when these three theories are given equal time in our science classrooms across the country, and eventually the world; One third time for Intelligent Design, one third time for Flying Spaghetti Monsterism, and one third time for logical conjecture based on overwhelming observable evidence."

I Threw Up
Implied regurgitation. It's a site that is "an experimental appropriation image campaign." Essentially, they sell stickers of talk bubbles saying "I threw up." People take these, affix them to a picture or graffiti, and send in pictures of them. Note: this is not actually about throwing up.
Odd Todd
Dry humor about unemployment. Yes, there is enough material there to make several flash animations. Check out a day in the life of the laidoff Odd Todd.

A massive online canvas, growing every second. A collaborative artistic effort, on an overwhelmingly large scale. Add a any small image from your collection to the project to become a part of it all.

A creative, dynamic database of user-developed content. Not really a web-log site. Not really a publication machine. Not really a mass-mailing system. Yet, it's all three. A new form of communication.
Jones Soda
To be honest, I'm not really a big fan of the actual beverage. However, I think the concept is brilliant. Fans submit photos, they publish the photos on the bottle labels. Like I said, brilliant.

The Daily Show
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart provides social commentary on the day's events. It's where I get more of the news, than I probably should. Earlier this year, Nielsen ratings showed that the viewers of the Daily Show had a greater percentage of college degrees and a higher income in comparison to news watchers. It makes you think, in other words.
The Colbert Report
Colbert, an ex-reporter for the Daily Show, now has his own late night "news" show. The Daily Show is to CNN, as the Colbert Report is to the O'Reilly Factor. This is a highly satirical show. Adbusters
A magazine that focuses on culture jamming. Culture jamming is act of transforming existing mass media to produce negative commentary about itself, using the original medium's communication method.
Firefox
As a web developer, I have grown to loathe having to cater of Microsoft Internet Explorer. IE has a complete disregard for web standards. That why I recommend getting the free alternative called Firefox. If you're on a Mac, you already have Safari. Either of these will be suitable for obeying web standards, and providing a lot more features than IE currently does.
