About Me

My name is Bob Baldwin, and I don't like writing about myself. Some may find it ironic then that I have an "about me" section on my own website. I'm a huge fan of irony.

I am a 25 year old software engineer. I graduated with a degree in computer science at the University of Central Florida. See my resume for more details.

My two favorite computer-related companies are Apple and Google. They provide serious and adaptable technology with via clean, intuitive user interfaces. I am currently studying web interface techniques made popular by Google, such as AJAX. I own a MacBook Pro, which is my third Apple computer.

I have been vegan and an animal rights activist for the past 8 years. I started this when I learned of the severely cruel torture that occurs everyday in factory farming. It is for that reason I choose to not consume, wear, or involve myself with animal products. I will not be a part of such needless and unnecessary harm.

I currently live in Orlando, FL. My family lives in Jupiter, FL. Ashley is my sister, who's 6 years younger and hilarious. My mother, Lynn, is an elementary school teacher at Timber Trace Elementary School in Palm Beach, FL. My father, Mike, owns his own advertising business, Mike's Computer Marketing.
